NPEDC as a Public Limited Company is governed by a Board of Directors. The Chairman and the General Manager are appointed by Government of Nepal. The General Manager, who is the Chief-Executive, is also the Member-Secretary of the Board of Directors.

With a view to ensure quality services in line with the objectives and the development needs of the country, NPEDC has developed a group of staff which includes experienced professionals and trainers in its functional areas. Besides its core professional staff, NPEDC has a policy of using external experts, who would be associated with its function as and when necessary.
